Our Team

Jeff Swislocki has been the Executive Director since 2014.  He is an Olmsted Falls Class of 2002 alum.  Prior to taking over as Executive Director he ran this event ten times.  He loved the community feel and was honored to take over when the Hosta Family offered.  He lives by the mantra, Service before Self, and loves being able to give back and recognize Bulldog graduates who give back to the community they live in.

Justin Zrenner has been the Director of Race Operations since 2014.  He graduated from Olmsted Falls High School in 2002 and currently teaches math at the high school.  He’s run the Olmsted Spirit 5K four times, and loves to pay it forward.

Mark Madere has been involved in the Olmsted Spirit 5k in various capacities since its inception in 1998.  SpectraLight Photography, his studio, provided the seed money to cover initial start-up expenses. As a Pennsylvania State participant in high school cross country and track, Mark values the camaraderie that running with others provides.  As a graduate of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, he understands the high cost of post-secondary education.  Thus, his involvement in the Olmsted Spirit 5k has helped bring the Olmsted community together for a healthy, fun activity while raising money for OFHS grads heading off to college.

Chrissy Grimm is the Director of Children’s Ministry at Hope Community Church in Olmsted Falls.  She spends her free time with her husband and three kids.  If shes isn’t busy, she is either in the Metroparks or at the gym fitting in a workout.  She loves being a part of this race because it celebrates the community and the amazing kids within it.

Paul and Maryanne Swislocki have lived in the Olmsted Community for over 36 years now.  They have enjoyed living and raising their children in Olmsted Falls.  They love to give back to the community and helping their son Jeff with the race.

Dawn Pettry has been a resident of Olmsted Township for 11 years.  Dawn and her husband, Stephen, stay busy raising their two children.  She is an active member of the community serving on several committees and boards.  Giving back has always been important to her family and her.  Dawn found a passion for the purpose of the Olmsted Spirit 5k and has been a part of the team for the past three years.

Matthew Stegmeier is a 1994 graduate of Falls-Lenox Elementary School.  Although his family moved to Strongsville, he is still a Bulldog at heart.  Due to years of ultimate frisbee, he has the knees of a much older man and does not run much anymore.  His company Arbor Technology provides IT support to small businesses throughout the area. Arbor Technology designed the Olmsted Spirit website & will cover all hosting and .com expenses for Olmsted Spirit moving forward.
