OUR WHY AND MISSION

For our 2024 Olmsted Spirit 5k, we will continue our dual mission of donating our remaining race proceeds after our race expenses are paid out to our Olmsted Spirit Scholarship Fund and our Olmsted Community Fund.  Since we took over in 2014 our Olmsted Spirit Scholarship Fund has raised close to $60,000 for Olmsted Falls High School Seniors who display their “Olmsted Spirit” by giving back and serving our great communities.  

 

Our Olmsted Community Fund helps give back to our amazing Olmsted Community Center.  The director of the OCC, Donna Winter, works very hard to put on numerous activities to help encourage long lasting bonds between community members in Olmsted Falls and Olmsted Township.  The OCC also gives back quite a bit to our communities by setting up programs that serve families in need.
